Biden calls for federal investigation of Elon Musk over ‘relationships with other countries’

I think that Elon Musk’s cooperation and/or technical relationships with other countries is worthy of being looked at,” Biden answered. “Whether or not he is doing anything inappropriate, I’m not suggesting that. I’m suggesting that it’s worth being looked at.

Didn't Biden also request another investigation on Trump's foreign business relationships?

And the Twitter tweet drama continues. Now the EU is threatening to ban Twitter unless Musk comes to the table with required EU regulation.

EU warns Musk that Twitter faces ban over content moderation -FT

Breton told Musk he must adhere to a checklist of rules, including ditching an "arbitrary" approach to reinstating banned users and agreeing to an "extensive independent audit" of the platform by next year, according to the report.

Hacked Twitter data includes phone numbers, personal emails for celebrities, prominent politicians

More than 5.4 million user records from Twitter have been published online, exposing everything from private phone numbers to email addresses. The data, which was released for free on a popular hacking forum this month, was pilfered last December after hackers exploited an API vulnerability on the social media platform.

Although Twitter says the issue was patched in January after it was reported to the HackerOne bug bounty program, numerous threat actors were able to take advantage before the vulnerability was fixed.

Elon Musk says Apple never considered removing Twitter from App Store

Elon Musk on Wednesday tweeted that the misunderstanding about Twitter potentially being removed from Apple Inc's (AAPL.O) App Store was resolved following his meeting with the iPhone maker's (AAPL.O) Chief Executive Tim Cook.

Has anyone ever considered the power that both Apple and Google have with their App stores?  If this in fact had happened, that Apple removed Twitter from their app store, would you care or see this action by Apple in another way?

As a webmaster, we rely on many resources to be able to offer our website services to members.  I've had the experience of having an app developed and approved in both the Apple App store and the Google Playstore.  It is a lot of work. Each store requires web apps to meet a significant amount of standards. It's not over after the app is built. Once it's built and accepted, which is not an easy process and one also is rejected a number of times until the app is approved, then the app has to be maintained.  Any changes in the app, or unusual crashes, or poor functionality may cause the app to be pulled from the app store without notice.

I agree with high standards, but there are only two app stores.  I did read that Musk may create another app store option with his own phone.  What do you think about that?

The Twitter drama continues with Musk threatening employees the dismissal of their employment with Twitter if they violate their NDA.

Now we have the "Twitter Files" coming out with inner office email conversations from the executives with the most controversial topics and decisions Twitter Co. made during the election cycle, Trump's suspension and other banned members.

What is actually taking place is unreal and shocking.

There's a reason why trust is important with website integrity.

Twitter bans links to other social networks – maybe

Accounts that are used for the main purpose of promoting content on another social platform may be suspended. Additionally, any attempts to bypass restrictions on external links to the above prohibited social media platforms through technical or non-technicalmeans (e.g. URL cloaking, plaintext obfuscation) is in violation of this policy. This includes, but is not limited to, spelling out “dot” for social media platforms that use “.” in the names to avoid URL creation, or sharing screenshots of your handle on a prohibited social media platform.

So....the latest Twitter drama has me confused as to their TOS in sharing links from a website.

Soooo.....can we share links to our websites and other websites? Or does their new rule prohibit link sharing entirely?

Really, what's the sense of posting on Twitter if you can't share what you're reading that you like, whether it's from another website or your own?

Will Tesla pull out of it's decline? What of Twitter?
