Oh ...yes, Stepford Wives. I had to watch the trailer to refresh my memory. I recalled it being very bizarre and disturbing. You're not being paranoid at all. There's too much at play, especially since the pandemic that seems to be on the cusp of being implemented in the social sphere or what has been in the works is now openly in the news and on websites on what "they" plan to do. Texas retired governor Rick Perry said once (when he was running for president years ago)...."I want government to be less relevant in your life". I have never forgotten he's statement because I've never seen so much government intrusion since the pandemic. I do agree, there are motives and my mind wonders thinking about their motives. There are other dystopian movies along the lines of Stepford Wives that are disturbing such as: The Hunger Games series, the Divergent Series, Logan's Run, Running Man, Total Recall, The Road Warrior, Mad Max, Ready Player One,The Matrix and 1984 et al. My husband and I have tried to watch 1984 but it is so dismal and completely inhumane conditions in this dystopian world, that it was hard to watch.
