OMG, I haven't got a clue what most of those are, but, c'mon, Alligator and Alligator eggs nest, and what the hell are Boudin balls, maybe I don't want to know!

I'll say again because I've said it before to you, you lot out there are crazy lol!😂

    You're all completely bonkers!

Lol...I saw the Alligator entries too and thought they must be joking, but then like you say, there's some Texan's that are bonkers and will eat anything.

I had no idea what boudin balls (lol) are, so I looked it up.  Cajun food is a Louisiana thing.  They have crayfish boils and party on with their cajon spices.

Boudin balls are a Cajun snack made from a mixture of pork, rice, and spices, rolled into balls, breaded, and deep-fried until crispy. They are a popular appetizer in Louisiana, often served with a dipping sauce.

I can recall that each year of the fair, there's always something new that will be fried.  I remember hearing about the fried butter but forgot about the fried twinkie lol.

So, I guess there's something about adding a lot of "fat" to an already seriously high carb treat that makes them go together, like the slice of cheddar cheese on top of an apple pie slice. 😅

If you haven't had a funnel cake, you might like that and fried would be wild.  At Six Flags over Texas (amusement park) they are known for their Pink Thing.  It's dark pink ice cream on a stick.  It's a requirement to experience the whole Six Flags experience with at least on Pink Thing.

Actually, Boudin balls sound quite nice, I like spicy food, cheese on top of an apple pie, no it has to be with custard for me, the Pink Thing sounds nice, although in the article link you gave, there seems to be some arguments about the flavor?

And yes, calories WOW, but it's nice that you have such creative events over there, even if it is a bit bonkers lol!🤣
