I miss Pontiac. Why oh why was Pontiac the line that was phased out rather then some other lines? I loved the Pontiac Trans Am and Grand Am. They were both amazing cars. I'm not sure I've seen many of the GT-37, but it's certanily a total muscle car. I thought I'd share this article for the fun of just looking at classic cars.

When it comes to classic Pontiacs, no car gets as much love as the GTO. Introduced as an option package for the LeMans in 1963, the GTO came with a 325-horsepower V8 asstandard and a long list of performance add-ons that turned it into one of the most appealing nameplates at the time. I have a great boot collection and some really awesome shoes, which are far easier and more cost effective to collect rather then cars. I think I'd collect cars if I could and I would also like to save all of the animals in the world without homes.

Some fun statistics on the GT-37:

The engine lineup included a base 350-cubic-inch (5.8-liter) V8 rated at250 horsepower and a pair of 400-cubic-inch (6.6-liter) mills. The latter produced 265 horses in the two-barrel setup and exactly 300 horsepower when fitted with a four-barrel carburetor. But Pontiac didn't stop there. Knowing that the GT-37 might become popular with drag racers, it also included the range-topping 455-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) V8 on the options list.
