Here's a list of some great movies to watch in case you haven't seen them before or it's been awhile. I have a feeling though, that if you like horror, you've seen them all!

The 51 Best Horror Movies To Scare Yourself Silly

Do you love horror movies? I really like horror movies and all of the jump scares make me laugh, though after I've jumped. I don't particularly care for "slasher" movies. I prefer the horror movies that have a good background story. One of my recent favorites, which is a bit of a thrasher; Light's Out, with Maria Bello. To me, that movie had a good story background. I haven't seen Hereditary (2018) but have been meaning to see it. All of the Jaws movies we've seen a gazillion times and can actually recite the lines. Matter of fact, Jaws1 was on TV this weekend and we watched the end....lol.

IT, I won't watch. We started watching it and I just couldn't. I have issues with torture on human beings and particularly sensitive to children and animals being harmed. Just couldn't do it. I don't recall seeing Saw, and I'm sure if people are getting "sawed" then that would explain why I didn't see it. I'm surprised Friday the 13th movies and Hell Raiser are not on this list. The first Hellraiser terrified me. Here's another link with a different list that I think fairs well for hybrid terror, like Devil's Advocate, The Candyman, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Interview with a Vampire, et al.

What are your favorite horror movies?

Is anyone watching a spooky/horror movie tonight since it's Halloween?

We watched a little bit of Devil's Advocate tonight. We hadn't seen it in a while and apparently, the times we've seen it, it was censored. This was the uncensored version. OMG!!! Al Pacino is SOOOO the devil in this movie.

New horror movie coming out. Looks a bit horror-light to me but maybe a good story??

Consecration: The Devil is Back and He's Killing Nuns and Priests.

Grace (Gena Malone)is an ophthalmologist who doesn’t believe in God and, therefore, in miracles. Luckily for her latest patient, she’s knowledgeable about scientific remedies for grave medical conditions. There’s no saving Grace’s brother Michael (Steffan Cennydd), however, who Grace learns hasdied in what appears to be a murder-suicide at the remote Scottish convent on the Isle of Skye where he resides as a priest.

My husband and I are going to watch M3GAN this weekend. Have been wanting to see it since the trailer was added on Tech's.

I love scary, gory, horror movies! The more blood, the better. In fact, that's me and my g/f's favorite genre. We've watched 100's together. hehe Hellraiser is our favorite franchise. We also enjoyed the complete Saw legacy.

Hellraiser scared the living be-Jesus out of me and you watched all of the Saw franchise....lol...which I passed on...but then some of these horror movies can have some creativity and base story that can carry it beyond the gore, like Lights Out with Maria Bello. To me, great movies and story line, but for you, Light's Out would likely be gore-light. Okay, I'll look at a Saw trailer...lol.

Not exactly a horror movie, but real life places to go that are a tad haunted. [url=https://getpocket.com/explore/item/9-creepiest-places-you-should-probably-never-visit?utm_source=pocket-newtab-en-us]https://getpocket.com/explore/item/9-creepiest-places-you-should-probably-never-visit?utm_source=pocket-newtab-en-us Though popular attractions, these creepy places have the benefit of being rooted in history with layers of culture, which means they’ve been well preserved over time. This is not your average haunted house night where thrill-seekers enjoy a few giggles and gasps in the dark. Instead, these are places packed with bones, scrawny cats, and the paranormal.
