Juliana (died 1946) was a medal-winning Great Dane. She was awarded two Blue Cross medals. During WWII, she extinguished an incendiary bomb that landed in the house where she lived when her owner during The Blitz. How did she extinguish it? The only way a dog could - by peeing on it.

What a good dog!! How lucky that the bomb was extinguished by Juliana's little behavior. Amazing story of why dog's are known as a man's best friend.
